Trusting someone with your new baby is no small feat. I feel you momma! My palms sweat just thinking about handing my little one over to every aunt at the latest family gathering. With over 8 years in the newborn biz, I have taken numerous workshops, worked with hundreds of babies, and learned from some of the best in the industry. In fact, my work in newborn photography is forever evolving and education never ends. There is no such thing as a "certified newborn photographer" (although there should be), but I can promise you an experience that has been practiced, trained, and safety centered.
When your baby comes to my studio, I treat them as my own with the gentle and tender care they deserve. I will never push a pose or shot on a baby who signals they are uncomfortable. I strive to create timeless and minimal images that will stand the test of time, free of an overabundance of props and crazy colors. Each baby and their personality is unique and I prefer to go with their flow.
I am currently still wearing a mask with all newborns in the studio. Used fabrics are all washed between each use and equipment is sanitized just before we begin. I am careful to be sure I don't bring any icky bugs to the studio with me if I know I have been exposed to someone who is sick or is not feeling well and always ask my clients to do the same.
